Residence permit in Serbia.
With the passage of time you get used to all the unusual and pleasant local life … I got used to it … I got used to it so much that now I am surprised at the incredulity of those coming from Russia (or even from the territory of the former Union) … For example, here general secondary education is free … Even in technical school, grounds. Is free. Of course, you can not enter an institute or a university in a budget place, if there is no passport of a citizen of Serbia … But, excuse me, this, probably, nowhere?
So, when writing to a prestigious educational institution, (I’m talking about the gymnasium Zmai Yovin in Novi Sad), it turned out that Russian-speaking students here are only welcome … Russian roots are a big plus here. The boy did not even have to participate in the competition, which is held by local winners of the Olympiads and honors pupils after the end of the 8th grade. And the director is the most amiable person, and on the top floor of the gymnasium building there is one of the departments of the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the Russian World, with a library and a computer-equipped hall. www.ruskicentar.edu.rs/index.php?lang=en.
The Gymnasium was founded in 1810 and preserves the traditions of one of the best gymnasiums not only in Novi Sad, but also in whole Serbia. There are four directions – humanitarian, mathematical, special – for gifted children, and sports.
And most importantly, the legislation of Serbia allows him to obtain a residence permit on the basis of receiving education, and his parents-as relatives, for the reunification of the family.
Of course, parents were worried … A majestic building, stucco molding, marble, natural wood. Inside are not classes, but the audience with high ceilings, a hall for choral singing. Worried and after talking with the director, who immediately assured that the documents will be positively examined. We were worried for about two weeks … Finally, on the appointed day, we appeared in empty corridors, where besides the workers in whitewashed overalls, we again found only the director. Even the secretary is on vacation. But the man in glasses, with a tired smile on his face, personally printed out a certificate of acceptance of a new student, put a seal and signed. We said goodbye in Russian (it turns out that the headmaster also taught Russian) … We left, and only then the boy’s dad breathed out: “Thank God …” I laugh … Yes, what are you so unbelievers! I immediately told you that everything will be fine. And he heatedly began to tell how much he and his wife experienced … Is it possible? The son will study at a prestigious gymnasium, without bribes, without acquaintances, without a queue, without a contest … Free … They did not believe until the last moment … And three weeks later the family received a decision from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia. We approved the residence permit. There is a residence permit, you can now arrange further … Find the right house … Beautiful and comfortable. Or it is better to build to order, in which our company will gladly help any client.
